Mr Leslie Miller (m)
Managing Partner (Non-Clinical Partner)
Mr Miller joined the practice as Practice Manager in 2019 and become a partner with Dr McCubbin and Dr Picton in 2022.
In his role as Managing Partner, he is responsible for managing the strategic direction of the practice to ensure we meet our contractual responsibilities to provide good patient care.

Louise Walsh (f)
Assistant Practice Manager
Louise joined the practice in 2004 as a Medical Receptionist and was quickly promoted to Reception Manager and now the Assistant Practice Manager. As one of our longest serving members, she has built a vast knowledge of the health service, our community and patients.
In her role she is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the practice and deputises for the Managing Partner in his absence.

Non-urgent advice: Named Accountable GP (Usual GP)
In accordance with the current government and our NHS contract all patients on our list have been allocated a named accountable GP (Usual GP) who will be responsible for your overall care. This will either be Dr McCubbin, Dr Picton, Dr Nixon, Dr Sayles or Dr Hazell. You do not need to only see your Usual GP, you are welcome to see whichever clinician you choose, providing that it is clinically appropriate from them to deal with your issue.
If you wish to know which GP has been allocated to you, please ask reception at your next visit.

Emma Potts (f)
Physician Associate
Emma joined Woodlands Park in 2021 after qualifying as a Physician Associate in 2019 and completing her preceptorship as a Physician Associate in Primary Care in County Durham. Prior to this she completed a PhD at Newcastle University.
Emma works alongside the on-call GP to deal with acute urgent issues, as well as seeing patients for routine consults. She has a special interest in dermatology. Since joining the practice, Emma has completed her NIPE training and is now able to perform 6-8 week baby checks.

Clinical Pharmacist
Lisa joined our team in 2020 as a Clinical Pharmacist. Previous to this role she worked in community pharmacy, in addition to working for a clinical therapy services company.
Since joining the practice, she has participated in further clinical training achieving a Masters Degree and is now a certified prescribing pharmacist.
Her main ambition is to ensure all patients under her care receive the best outcome from their medicines to further improve their health and is fully supportive of patients being involved in their treatment decisions.
